CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of runners are celebrating survivors and moms during the 20th anniversary of the Susan G. Komen Mother's Day Race for the Cure.

This year, the race will take place at a new lakefront location at Montrose Harbor. Komen Chicago donates 75 percent of net funds raised to community grants and dedicates 25 percent to global research.
