Share and donate at Swapadventure's Holiday Event

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (WLS) -- The holiday season is a time for giving back and brightening the day for children and families in need. Coming up on December 10, 2016, you can help families, see where your donated items are going and enjoy a free event during the 4th Annual Swapadventure Holiday Event. It's free to attend when you bring a unwrapped toy, book, or article of clothing to donate to children in need. Paritcipants will be able to track which shelter(s) Swapadventure will distribute all the leftover items to on website www.swapadventure.com and social media Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Santa Claus will be available for pictures, a Snow Princess, arts and crafts, and free entertainment. The founders of Swapadventure, Maggie Pawelko and Angelika Babich visited ABC 7 Eyewitness news to talk about the upcoming event.

Admission/Ticket Prices: FREE when you bring one toy, one book, or 1 article of clothing unwrapped to give to Santa for a child in need.
