SHOREWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- A teacher at Trinity Christian School in Shorewood accused of sending inappropriate texts to a 13-year old girl faces a new charge.
Lemuel Elechicon, 51, was charged with aggravated battery, the Will County State's Attorney's Office confirmed on Tuesday.

Last month, Elechicon was charged with grooming.
According to the Joliet Patch, one text by Elechicon referenced rubbing the girl's "firm" thighs.

Elechicon has been placed on administrative leave from his job.
