SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- It's a museum dedicated to remembering the past and making sure history is not repeated: The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center in Skokie.
The museum honors survivors and victims of the Holocaust and works to teach lessons in humanity.

The museum is open Wednesday-Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Kids and students can visit for free during Spring Break, through April 17.
