LOS ANGELES -- Saving Our Daughters brought Choreographer, Dancer & Celebrity Godparent, Ms. Kai Martinez to Walt Disney Elementary School in Burbank to teach eager students the latest Disney dances.

Founded in 2014, Saving Our Daughters is an organization dedicated to supporting young girls of color in overcoming barriers and empowering them to achieve their highest potential. The girls in the organization are also called "Student Cinderellas" and are paired with women of color in the entertainment industry, referred to as "Celebrity Godparents."

Ms. Martinez, who has worked with global artists including Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and Paul McCartney, recently worked on the 2026 Oscar nominated Disney animated film, Zootopia 2 and the new 2026 epic Disney franchise Camp Rock 3.

When asked about the experience, Ms. Martinez remarks, "It's been beautiful to watch their eyes light up." She continues, "Dance gives children something that they can rarely get anywhere else, which is a sense of confidence and a sense of ownership of yourself."
