Paulsboro, New Jersey -- Missy Sampson's professional wrestling journey started when she was just 16 years old. She wrestled all along the east coast of the US and also throughout Canada. Her career spans 28 years, and she entered retirement in 2019. The wrestling world was not done with her yet. Danny Cage, owner of the Monster Factory in Paulsboro, talked Sampson into coaching prospective wrestlers at his facility. Sampson says the kids are like her family, and there is nothing better than teaching the next generation.

Sampson jokes that Danny always talks her into everything. So, when he came up with the idea for her to start an all-women wrestling promotion out of the Monster Factory, she hesitantly agreed. After some brainstorming with a friend of hers, they decided on the name, Belle 2 Bell.

It is an all-woman promotion, from the wrestlers to the ring announcers and referees. She says it is proof that anyone can achieve their goals. Sampson also hopes that it is an example for little girls to never stop dreaming.

Unfortunately, this past September marked the last Belle 2 Bell event. Sampson says circumstances out of her control are forcing her to put a temporary halt to any future matches. She says she has no regrets and is very hopeful for the future of Belle 2 Bell
