31st Out of Darkness Overnight Walk in Chicago for suicide prevention

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago is joining a powerful movement to shine light on a hidden struggle.

Next month, thousands will gather in solidarity for this year's Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk.

It is one of the largest suicide prevention events in the country, raising money and awareness to save lives.

Executive Director of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention Angela Cummings joined ABC7 Chicago.
