CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify the man who robbed a popular theater in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.
Investigators said a man snuck into the Annoyance Theatre, located on Belmont Avenue near Clark Street, behind an intern who uses a wheelchair around 3:20 p.m. on Aug. 8. They said she accidentally left to door open behind her.
Surveillance video shows the man roaming around the theater. Police said he eventually stole two laptops.
Officials said he has likely been inside the theater before and knew what he was looking for.
