A northwest suburban man has pleaded guilty but under mental illness to killing his teenage neighbor.Prosecutors say Adam Christenson of Ingleside killed 16-year-old Elizabeth Willding in July of 2004. He and two friends had reportedly stolen a video game system and digital camera from the Willding family's home.

Christenson killed the teen when he returned to the house to steal attachments for the camera. A judge is scheduled to sentence Christenson on March 17.

The plea means Christenson will receive treatment while he is behind bars.
