One killed, five injured in crash on South Side

One person was killed and five others injured, including two Chicago Police officers, after an early morning crash on the city's South Side.

It happened just after midnight at 92nd and Paxton. Investigators say the squad car collided with a vehicle carrying four people. The impact forced both cars landed on the lawns of nearby homes.

Twenty-one-year-old Eric Gray was killed. He was a passenger in the vehicle.

The two officers are hospitalized in stable condition.
