Man shot and wounded by Chicago police

CHICAGO No officers were hurt in the incident, which occurred late Sunday night on West Lake Street.

Authorities said multiple officers fired shots at the unidentified man, who was struck in the arm. A Chicago Fire Department spokeswoman said the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Chief Ilana Rosenzweig of the review authority, which investigates police-involved shootings, said late Sunday she could not say if the wounded man fired shots at police, and she could not comment on what led up to the shooting.
