Chicago's top cop wants the department to trade in its squad cars for a newer set of wheels.During a luncheon Wednesday, Police Superintendent Jody Weis said he'd like to see the department's cars updated.

He suggested an SUV may make more sense than the traditional Ford Crown Victoria because of Chicago's rough winters.

Superintendent Weis admitted this is an expensive idea and executing it would be difficult because of the city's budget crunch.
