Officers searched Friday night in the area of 15th and Lewis in North Chicago but did not find the tan-colored 30-inch tall animal. They did, however, find large paw prints.
Anyone who spots the cougar in the area is asked to call 911.

Authorities received at least three calls Friday from people claiming to have seen a large cat-like animal near the park district youth center.
