The main dining room at a Chicago university has been shut down after health inspectors found mouse droppings. The closure is at Saint Xavier on the Southwest Side. City health inspectors found droppings in the food preparation and storage area last month.

Another inspection Tuesday found the problem had not been corrected.

A university spokesperson says the facility is being thoroughly cleaned and it's hoped it will reopen in a few days.
