Police say the driver, a 28-year-old woman, left the scene but returned. Charges against the driver are pending.
Charges pending in crash that killed child
CHICAGO Police said Fields ran across the street when he was struck by a northbound Jeep Cherokee in 5600-block of South Princeton in the Englewood neighborhood around 9:30 p.m. Tishuan Fields was pronounced dead at Comer's Children's Hospital.
