Five people who were alive when the Cubs won the World Series in 1908 came together to root for a championship win in 2008. ESPN Zone in downtown Chicago hosted a brunch for five 100-year-old fans. They were honored at a Cubs-Phillies viewing party to commemorate the teams last World Series title.

One of the attendees even said he went to the 1918 World Series and saw Babe Ruth and the Red Sox play the Cubs.
