Our guest this week is Dorothy Gaters, the legendary girls basketball coach at Chicago's Marshall Metropolitan High School.

Coach Gaters' Lady Commandos won the state championship last month, and two weeks later, Marshall's boys also won the state title. Gaters is also Marshall's athletic director.

Gaters has won more games than another basketball coach in Illinois history. Her 33-year record is an incredible 881 wins and just 121 losses. Her teams have won eight state championships and 22 City of Chicago titles.

Among her many honors, she's a member of the National Women's Basketball Association Hall of Fame, and she was named Women's National Basketball Coach of the Year. She is especially proud that many of her players receive college educations by winning basketball scholarships.
