Rescued puppies ready for adoption

The puppies have been nursed back to health and groomed at PAWS in Tinley Park.

Dozens of puppies were seized from a Peotone home in March. Authorities say they were kept in filthy conditions.

The woman who kept the puppies has been charged with violating owner's duties.

The puppies now are ready for new, loving owners. More of them will become available for adoption as they get spayed and neutered.
