Chicago's Michigan Ave. Streetwall endangered

CHICAGO The National Trust for Historic Preservation released its report on the top eleven endangered places. The list highlights historic sites at risk for destruction or damage.

Michigan Avenue's 12-block stretch includes building that date back to the 1880's. It's a Chicago landmark.

The trust says the historic character is threatened by large-scale towers that retain only small portions of the original structures.
