Dean Cage is now 41. Back in 1994 a 15-year-old victim identified cage as her attacker. He insisted he was home at the time.
The girl said her attacker pulled her between two buildings and assaulted her near 69th and State Street.
Cage was sentenced to 40 years. The charges have been dismissed and Cage is expected to be released by Wednesday.
The case has been reopened.
