Dick Tracy museum set to close

A suburban museum dedicated to crime fighter Dick Tracy will close its doors this Sunday.

Dick Tracy was the creation of Chester Gould. He spent most of his career in Woodstock. The museum opened inside the old courthouse there in 1991.

But, according to the museum's website, it is not generating enough money to remain open. It will close for good Sunday at 4 p.m.

Most of the art and memorabilia will be posted on a new online museum and some items will remain on display at the old courthouse.
