Freight train strikes car in Grayslake

A driver is hospitalized after a freight train hit his car in north suburban Grayslake. A Canadian National freight train hit the car which was sitting on the tracks at Routes 83 and 120 around 5 a.m.

It took crews 20 minutes to cut the man from the car. He is in serious condition.

Three Metra trains were been delayed because of the accident.
