Shedd urges people to avoid shark meat

CHICAGO Michelle Jost, director of sustainable practices at the Shedd, says she is concerned about the recent availability of shark meat and shark fin soup at Chicago restaurants and is appealing to people to void eating them.

Jost says shark populations are extremely low worldwide due to over-fishing.
