Low-fat diet as good as Mediterranean?

We've all heard about the health benefits of a Mediterranean-style diet. Now there's word a low-fat diet can produce the same results. A new study in the American Journal of Cardiology finds the diets provide similar benefits when applied with equal intensity and can be a component of post heart attack lifestyle changes.

The study found post-heart attack patients who followed these diets for four years significantly reduced their risk for more cardiac problems.
