A former Roman Catholic priest who pleaded guilty to sexual assault has been released from prison. Mark Campobello worked in both Geneva and Aurora. One of his victims was a 14-year-old girl who was assaulted at Saint Peter Church in Geneva. The other was a 15-year-old girl who was molested while Campobello was an assistant principal at Aurora Central Catholic High School.

He was released from prison in February and arrested again in April on a parole violation.

The group Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests says they are "sad and scared" that Campobello is free.
