A settlement worth more than a quarter of a million dollars has been reached with the family of a boy who was severely cut while playing at Navy Pier. Back in 2004, Dylan Deleon, who was 3 years old at the time, was visiting Navy Pier with his family. He and two brothers were playing on the Outdoor Twirling Tunnel near the funhouse maze when he fell onto the moving circular wall.

His injuries left a three-inch scar on his face.

The five companies named as defendants will pay the Deleon family more than $260,000.
