TiVo begins selling shows through Amazon

The company behind the digital video recorder is teaming up with Amazon.com for its new product purchase option.

The feature debuts with four shows:

• "The Oprah Winfrey Show"
• "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"
• "The Colbert Report"
• The USA Network comedy-drama "Burn Notice"

TiVo's new shopping feature can be used while watching any broadcast or cable network program.

It's available to subscribers using broadband-connected TiVo series 2, 3 and Hi-Def DVRs.
