A man from the Northwest Side is facing charges for a string of burglaries and home invasions on the South Side. Fifty-one-year-old Walter Miller was arrested Tuesday night. He was charged after being identified in a police line up. Police say Miller would prey on elderly victims, using false pretenses to get inside their homes. Once inside, he would allegedly steal from them.
