The travelers and some bystanders managed to get the vehicle off the man.
The victim is in intensive care at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downer's Grove.
Women help save man trapped under car
The man was helping two people traveling cross-country from Colorado at the Road Pilot truck stop in far west suburban Minooka Thursday night. As he worked on the car, it somehow fell on him and trapped him.
