One person was critically injured and three others hurt after a driver crashed a car into a North Side Starbucks. It happened at approximately 12 p.m. in the 6000 block of North Lincoln. Witnesses say the driver, 56-year-old Massia Akadiri, turned off Lincoln and went through a stop sign and into the coffee shop.

A man was sandwiched between the car and the wall. People inside and outside the Starbucks were shaken up by the crash.

"I was sitting outside. There was a huge crash. There was smoke coming out. It was crazy. Absolutely crazy," said a witness who identified herself as Jessica.

Akadiri has been cited for making an improper right turn, driving without insurance and negligent driving. She is expected to appear in court August 29.

All of those injured in the crash were reportedly in good condition Sunday night.
