2 fertility treatments may not help much

A study in the British Medical Journal Online suggests that couples might be just as successful if they just let nature take its course.

Researchers studied more then 550 women in the United Kingdom with unexplained infertility. Seventeen percent of the women who had no treatments had babies. That compares with 14 percent on the ovulation drug Clomid and 23 percent who had insemination.

An editorial calls for more study so couples can get fertility advice based on quality data.
