Lt. gov promotes rain barrels

CHICAGO At an event Friday morning, he talked about the benefits of collecting water that runs off the roof of your home. He says it conserves water for later use and reduces the damaging impact of storm water flow.

Quinn also announced an online contest to give away three artistically painted rain barrels.
