Pat Quinn fighting against pay raise for lawmakers

Illinois Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn has set up a Web site where residents can sign a petition asking for a full Senate vote on the 12 percent pay raises. It's called www.nopayraise.org

The House has already voted against the pay raise, but if the Senate does not vote on the issue in the coming week's legislative special session, the pay raise automatically goes into effect.

The special will mark the 30th session day since the Compensation Review Board filed its pay hike proposal.
