Chambers is charged with moving into a community and failing to notify local police of his status. By law, he is required to do so within three days of moving into an area.
Chambers was arrested June 30 in west suburban Downers Grove by an off-duty officer who recognized him. Investigators do not know what Chambers was doing there at the time of his arrest.
He's being held on a 150-thousand dollar bond in the dupage county jail.
