Residents alerted to Buffalo Grove burglaries

BUFFALO GROVE Investigators say there have been 10 residential burglaries since June. Most occurred in the Lake County portion of Buffalo Grove. All took place during the afternoon and evening.

Police say the thieves forced their way into homes by prying open windows and doors.

Police in Buffalo Grove say they have increased patrols in residential areas.

Residents are urged to report any unusual noises or suspicious activities in their neighborhoods.
