Brand of diapers goes green

GDiapers combine a washable cotton outer lining with a flushable inner lining that you refill. The inner lining is free of plastic. It is made from breathable materials that keep babies dry.

The gDiaper makers say the inner lining can be flushed or used as compost that will break down in up to 150 days.

You can also throw away the inner lining. It will break down in a landfill in about 90 days.

But going green does come at a price, as gDiapers cost more than traditional ones.
