Attempted child abduction in far west suburb

CAMPTON HILLS, Ill. Police in Campton Hills say a man in a blue minivan told two children to get into his van to go to Bible study with him. When the children refused, the van sped off toward Route 64.

Campton Hills is located just northwest of St. Charles. Police there are urging parents in the area to remind children to never talk to strangers and never get into a vehicle with them.
