Flood center helps Albany Park residents

A disaster recovery center is now open in Chicago to help people impacted by last month's devastating floods.Flooded basements were a common site in Chicago's Albany neighborhood.

The office, which is being run by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is open at the 3600 West Foster Avenue.

FEMA agents are there to help flood victims apply for federal assistance. The office will be open seven days a week until further notice.
