The boy escaped unharmed.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a late model dodge caravan in grey or silver. Police have released a sketch of the suspect.

Community on alert after attempted child abduction
A boy says the man approached him in a van which was driven by a woman Sunday in an alley at 6400-block of South Troy. He says the man opened the side door, grabbed the boys leg and tried to pull him in.
