"A half an hour before I could leave the hospital, I brought it up to my wife, my conscience was drilling me and I felt bad that she wasn't involved and I thought she would be gung-ho and 'let's do it,' and she wasn't," said Mark Ciptak, father.
The couple was going to name their baby Ava Grace.
They have about a month to request a name change. After that, a court order will be required.
