Man charged with stabbing off-duty officer

CHICAGO Police say the stabbing stemmed from a dispute over pumping gas at a gas station at LaSalle and Ontario Thursday night.

The officer suffered cuts to his face and back. The injuries are not life- threatening.

Wendell Edingburg, 55, is charged with aggravated battery.
