Four men forcibly entered the home on the 53 hundred block of West Altgeld Saturday afternoon dressed, and identifying themselves as police officers.
Seven people - including children - were inside the house at the time.
They were allegedly tied-up by the offenders and one victim was pistol-whipped.
The robbers stole several items and took off in a vehicle.
No one is in custody.
