The Rev. Andrew Greeley is reportedly doing much better Monday and his condition has been upgraded to fair condition. The best selling author and Chicago Sun-Times columnist had been in critical condition for several weeks.

Greeley, who is an 80-year-old priest, fell and hit his head, fracturing his skull earlier in November. He had just gotten out of a taxi at the Rosemont 'el' train station when his coat got snagged in the door.
