A major thoroughfare re-opened to traffic Wednesday after nearly nine months of construction. Wednesday morning, the Indiana Department of Transportation reopened a mile-and-a-half stretch of I-65 along with ramps connecting the interstate to the Borman Expressway.

The $188 million improvement project is finished ahead of schedule and just in time for the Thanksgiving traffic rush.
