A new set of warning lights has been installed on a radio tower that was involved in the crash of a medical helicopter. Blinking, white lights are now in place on the tower behind WBIG radio in Aurora.

The tower was rebuilt after the fatal crash. It is now about 300 feet shorter.

Last October, an Air Angels medical helicopter clipped the tower and crashed in a field. Four people died in the crash, three crew members and a 14-month-old girl who were flying to Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
