Would you pay $10 to ice skate at Wrigley Field? If you're a Wrigley neighbor, you may get the chance.

According to a published report, the Cubs are inviting neighbors to a community skate at the ballpark. It would be on the hockey rink being installed for the upcoming Winter Classic between the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Redwings New Year's Day.

The skate would be January 4, just before the rink is dismantled.

Cubs neighbors can skate in one-hour shifts for $10 apiece. The Cubs expect tickets to sell out quickly.
