Hundreds of children have new coats to keep them warm thanks to a Chicago rap star. There were plenty of smiles as the children tried on and zipped up the winter wear at 411 E. 43rd.

Grammy-award winning rapper Lupe Fiasco donated $5,000 to buy them. He grew up in Chicago and says he wanted to give back to deserving families in his home town.
