City snow plows will be clearing side streets in the same numbers as past years. The father of a Chicago alderman is headed to jail for his role in a fake ID business.

Tuesday morning, a federal judge sentenced Elias Munoz to 48 months in prison, plus two years of supervised release.

Munoz and 23 others were accused of running a multi-million dollar fraudulent ID business from his photo studio in the Little Village Discount Mall.

Munoz is scheduled to surrender on April 6. He is the father of 22nd Ward Alderman Richard Munoz.

The alderman did not have any comment on his father's sentence.
