United adds Wi-Fi service to some flights

United Airlines is adding Wi-Fi service to some cross country flights. Wireless internet access will be a feature on 13 757's for business passenger premium service on trips between New York City and Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Travelers with Wi-Fi enabled devices will be able to access e-mail, browse the web and instant message while flying.

United's in flight Wi-Fi service will cost about $13. It will be available later this year.
