Due to an overwhelming demand, Wrigley field is adding another show for Elton John and Billy Joel fans.Due to the incredible demand for tickets to the July 21, 2009 Elton John and Billy Joel Face 2 Face performance at Wrigley Field, many fans, neighbors and music enthusiasts were shut out of the opportunity to watch Elton John and Billy Joel perform under the stars at one of the most historic venues in baseball, after more than 100,000 people tried to purchase tickets. The Chicago Cubs and local elected officials decided to ask these two great music icons to add a second performance at Wrigley Field. While it may require rescheduling tour dates and granting an exception to the one-night-only plan for this venue, this will allow the fans to get a chance to see the hottest musical event of the summer.

Due to the fact that there was no previous intention for multiple performances, purchasers of the July 21st concert who would prefer to attend Thursday, July 16th have the opportunity to swap their tickets for the added concert date. The tickets will be exchanged for comparable locations only and cannot be used for upgrades. Please visit www.eltonandbillychicagoticketswap.com to the deadline of 5 pm on Saturday February 21st to participate in this special offer.

Music superstars Billy Joel and Elton John, the most successful and longest-running concert pairing in pop history, will reunite for a second Chicago performance of their Face 2 Face tour on July 16th, after selling out their July 21st concert in minutes, at Wrigley Field in Chicago, the home of the Chicago Cubs to satisfy the overwhelming demand from fans. Elton and Billy open each concert on the tour with a series of duets, playing twin pianos and trading vocals. Each artist then performs a set with his own band. A grand finale brings the two superstars and their supporting musicians back together for a closing encore. This includes some of both Elton and Billy's greatest hits along with an unpredictable selection of rock and roll classics.
